BLACKPINK is continuing their record-breaking streak by surpassing 400 million views with their song “How You Like That.”
According to YG Entertainment, the music video for BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” surpassed 400 million views at 10:52 p.m. on August 8 KST.
This is only 43 days after the music video was officially released via YouTube, resetting the shortest period to reach such numbers. The previous record was also held by BLACKPINK and their song “Kill This Love” (63 days).
Also, the number of subscribers to BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel has recently increased by about 100,000 every day. Since the release of “How You Like That,” it has risen by about 6.1 million, making it the largest number of subscribers held by female artists worldwide.
Meanwhile, the fact that BLACKPINK celebrated their 4th anniversary the same day makes such record all the more significant. Now, BLACKPINK is getting ready to greet their fans with a new song on August 28 and will release their first full-length album on October 2.
