‘Chip In’ Tops the Viewership of Wednesday-Thursday Dramas + ‘Flower of Evil’ Starts Off Solid with 3.4 Percent Viewership

Chip In records the best viewership among all Wednesday-Thursday dramas.

According to Nielsen Korea, the 3rd episode of MBC’s Chip In, which aired on July 29, recorded 3.0 percent and 3.9 percent viewership nationwide. This is a 0.2 percent and 0.6 percent rise from 2.8 percent and 3.0 percent recorded in the previous episode. It is also the highest viewership among Wednesday-Thursday dramas.

The 9th episode of KBS’s Into the Ring, which aired at the same time, recorded 2.7 percent and 3.3 percent viewership. Especially, the kiss scene at the end of the episode drew much attention, and the name of the drama and Nana were spotted in the news’s hot topic chart.

The 7th episode of JTBC’s Wast It Love? recorded 2.1 percent viewership nationwide, reentering the 2 percent range.

Meanwhile, the first episode of tvN’s Flower of Evil started off solid with 3.4 percent viewership nationwide. Lee Joon Ki’s two-sided performances as an affectionate father and a brutal killer have captivated the viewers.
