When people showed their anger in the producers’ decision to blur out Ravi’s Hat commemorating the ROKS Cheonan Sinking, the production team gave an explanation.

On the afternoon of July 13, the production team of KBS2’s 1 Night 2 Days Season 4 said, “We requested a blur (mosaic) work because there was an internal policy to be careful of any brand mark exposures, and in the process of final work, Ravi’s hat was blurred out, thinking that it was a logo of a brand.”

“Kim Jong Min’s hat was also covered, and since Yeon Jung Hoon covered the logo with a tape, his hat wasn’t blurred out,“ they added. ”We will pay more careful attention to even the small things in the future so that there will be no misunderstanding.“

In the latest episode of 1 Night 2 Days Season 4, which aired on July 12, Ravi’s hate that commemorate the memorial of the ROKS Cheonan sinking was blurred out, sparking a controversy.

The ROKS Cheonan sinking occurred on March 26, 2010, when Cheonan, a Pohang-class corvette of the Republic of Korea Navy, carrying 104 personnel, sank off the country’s west coast near Baengnyeong Island in the Yellow Sea after being shot by a torpedo by a North Korean Navy submarine, killing 46 seamen.
