EXO‘s Chanyeol challenges his first voice acting.
According to SM Entertainment, Chanyeol will star in Korea’s first audio cinema Pit-a-Pat Pit-a-Pat (literal translation), and play Bae Soo Hu, a high school student whose dream is to become a swimsuit designer.
Upcoming audio cinema is based on the popular webtoon of the same name. It depicts the secret double life of 17-year-old boy Bae Soo Gu and the exciting moment of his first love. It will capture the story only in voices without video.
On June 9, Pit-a-Pat Pit-a-Pat pre-released a one-minute highlight clip, drawing heated responses. Chanyeol’s voice and audio content offer unique and fresh cinematic experiences.
Meanwhile, Chanyeol will host “Pit-a-Pat Live with Chanyeol” as “Audio Live” at 7:00 p.m. on June 18 KST, through NAVER’s Audio Clip �channel. He will introduce his upcoming audio cinema and share behind-the-scenes stories.
