Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Girl’s Day’s Hyeri revealed that they attended the same high school.
On May 30th episode of tvN’s DoReMi Market, Red Velvet’s Seulgi and Irene guest starred on the show to promote their upcoming album as a unit group.
During the episode Seulgi expressed feeling awkward sitting next to Hyeri and shared, “I went to the same high school as Hyeri, but we were never in the same class and we have never ran into each other.” Hyeri also shared, “We didn’t run into each other because our promotions were at different times.”
When asked to sing their school song together, Hyeri ended up singing her middle school’s song. And the viewers laughed when Seulgi tried to sing along but realized it was the wrong song and asked Hyeri, “Are you sure that’s the one?”
