On May 24th, the identity of ‘Chow Yun-fat,’ who has taken home the winning trophy 6 weeks in a row on MBC’s King of Mask Singer, was revealed to be WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon.
Kang Seung Yoon shocked the viewers when he unmasked himself after losing for the first time in 6 weeks. The singer shared, “I didn’t expect to win the first time, and it felt like a miracle every time I won after that. I prepared for each performance with a thankful heart.”
Kang Seung Yoon also revealed, “This year is Mnet’s Super Star K‘s 10th year anniversary. It was a personally important time for me. I gained confidence musically through winning on King of Mask Singer, �and it was a time of healing for me. Thank you again.”
Before closing, the artist added, “I will be on MBC’s Kairos which will be airing in September and I will also be releasing a solo album, so please look forward to it.”
