‘Hi Bye, Mama!’ Stops Shooting After One Staff Self-Isolates Due To Coronavirus

tvN‘s new weekend series Hi Bye, Mama! has run into an unexpected crisis caused by the frightening spread of COVID-19 (the new Coronavirus).

According to the exclusive report by the local entertainment news website OSEN on March 1, the production team of Hi Bye, Mama! temporarily canceled all schedules of shooting because one of the staff recently had a check-up for COVID-19 and is self-isolating at home. After the halt of filming, and the rest crew of Hi Bye, Mama! is waiting on the results of the COVID-19 test. Through OSEN, the production team made a statement that it would stop shooting the drama until tomorrow (March 2, KST), the day when the results of the test come out.

Hi Bye, Mama!, which is Kim Tae Hee‘s first appearance in the small screen in five years, has been praised and popular thanks to her stable and passionate acting. However, it’s highly possible for the drama to suffer a major setback if the questionable staff would be diagnosed with COVID-19 eventually.
