On November 11th, 7:35pm KST, BLACKPINK made history and became the first K-pop group to reach a billion views on their DDU-DU DDU-DU MV on YouTube. The billion views mark only took a total of 17 months for the girls, as DDU-DU DDU-DU was released on June 15th of 2018.
The girls marked a milestone for K-pop, as the only other Korean act to achieve 1 billion views on YouTube has been PSY with Gangnam Style and Gentleman, thus far.
