YG Entertainment and CL’s Goodbye… And Some Bad Blood?

YG Entertainment has finally let CL go.

After over 7 years as a member of 2NE1 and 3 years as a solo artist soon after, CL is officially saying her goodbyes to YG Entertainment.

On November 8th, YG Entertainment released an official press statement in regards to former 2NE1 member CL’s exclusive contract.

They stated that the two had come to an agreement on the contract, and that they would continue to cheer her on with her new and future activities.

However, fans have noticed that the label had gotten rid of CL’s official Facebook and Twitter pages (which they have never done before with their former artists like PSY and Epik High) leading many to think that there was some drama and bad blood while discussing matters on this contract.

But with the termination of the contract, the chapter has closed so all we can do now is patiently wait for the queen’s return.

Best of luck to CL with her future endeavors!
