Avengers Siblings has wrapped up filming and is gearing up to meet viewers.
On July 16th, JTBC announced that the new drama Avengers Siblings (written by Hong Si Young and directed by Kim Seung Ho) completed filming on July 14th. Avengers Siblings, the Korean remake of the Chinese series Go Ahead, tells the story of three young adults who spent 10 years together as a family and another 10 years apart, longing for each other, and their romantic journey.
Hwang In Youp stars as Kim San Ha, a handsome young man with a unique backstory. Jung Chae Yeon plays Yoon Joo Won, the only girl in the family, while Bae Hyeon Seong transforms into Kang Hae Joon, a basketball-loving, sunny boy.
Choi Won Young takes on the role of Yoon Joo Won’s father, Yoon Jung Jae, and Choi Moo Sung plays Kim San Ha’s father, Kim Dae Wook. These two characters, who raise their children together, exhibit a dynamic reminiscent of a couple married for 10 years.
The synergy between the vibrant young actors and the seasoned veterans promises to deliver a captivating story. The newly released photos showcase the radiant three youths and the harmonious moments shared with their two fathers. Although an unconventional family, their affection for one another rivals that of any biological family, leaving viewers eager to see what stories unfold.
With filming completed and post-production underway, the Avengers Siblings production team expressed their gratitude: “We are truly fortunate to have completed this journey without incident. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the actors and staff who worked tirelessly day and night.”
Avengers Siblings is slated for a fall 2024 release.
