tvN’s upcoming drama, Resident Playbook, is already stirring up anticipation with its recent teaser video and posters, hinting at a vibrant expansion of the beloved Hospital Playlist universe.
Resident Playbook is a spin-off that follows a group of residents dreaming of becoming “good doctors” and their journey toward realizing that dream. The drama stars rising talents Go Youn Jung, Shin Sia, Han Yezee, Kang You Seok, and Jung Jun Won, who will bring to life the residents of the obstetrics and gynecology department at Jongno Yulje Hospital.
The teaser offers a sneak peek into the professional lives of these aspiring doctors adorned in scrubs and wearing their badges with pride, their faces a mix of determination, excitement, and anxiety. With the setting shifting from the Yulje Main Hospital to Jongno Yulje Hospital, audiences can expect a richer and more diverse exploration of the Yulje universe.
Director Shin Won Ho and writer Lee Woo Jung, the creative powerhouses behind the acclaimed Reply and Hospital Playlist series, have become the creators this time. The primary creators of this highly-anticipated show are Director Lee Min Soo, renowned for his work on Stranger, and writer Kim Song Hee, who previously lent her talents as an assistant on both Reply 1988 and Hospital Playlist.
