Kim Ji Hoon will exhibit the epitome of gentle charisma in Death’s Game.
Death’s Game revolves around Choi Yi Jae (played by Seo In Guk), who, moments before falling into hell, is given the grim verdict to live out 12 deaths and lifetimes by Death (Park So Dam). The show has previously garnered significant attention with its “secret” cast of ten, who will portray Choi Yi Jae through his 12 death-life cycles. Among them, Kim Ji Hoon’s portrayal of Park Tae Woo was the first to be announced.
Park Tae Woo, played by Kim Ji Hoon, is the eldest son and CEO of Taekang Group, raised with every privilege. Known for his gentlemanly demeanor, he enjoys immense trust from the employees. Released photos give a glimpse into his affluent life. He’s dressed in sharp suits that fit perfectly, and even his hobby of shooting reveals his inherent ease and confidence.
Adding to the intrigue, Park Tae Woo is not a character from the original webtoon but a new character added in the adaptation. The production team shared, “In order to enhance the dramatic tension while preserving the original webtoon’s message and fun, we added various settings including new characters. It will be fun to compare and see the differences from the original.”
To build the narrative for an original character in the drama, Kim Ji Hoon has carefully considered every aspect, from changing the long hairstyle he had been maintaining for a while to his emotional expressions.
