Netflix has confirmed the release date for Black Knight, starring Kim Woo Bin and Song Seung Heon.
Black Knight is a series set in a future Korean Peninsula where people cannot survive without oxygen due to severe air pollution. The story follows a legendary courier named 5-8 and a refugee named Sa Wol as they fight against the Chun Myung Group, which dominates the new world.
The series is directed by Jo Ui Seok, known for his work on Master and Cold Eyes. Kim Woo Bin stars as legendary courier 5-8, Song Seung Heon plays villainous Ryu Seok, the successor of the Chun Myung Group, Kang Yoo Seok stars as refugee Sa Wol who admires 5-8, and Esom plays military intelligence officer Seol Ah.
The second teaser poster features 5-8 transporting boxes amid a cloud of fine sand and dust, with the Chun Myung Group box displaying the number “05.12,” indicating the release date.
Kim Woo Bin said, “I enjoyed filming the show very much. I hope that it will bring laughter and delight to many viewers.”
Black Knight will be released on May 12th.
