Confidential Assignment 2: International recently unveiled new stills of Hyun Bin as elite North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung.
The upcoming movie follows North Korean detective Im Chul Ryung and South Korean detective Kang Jin Tae (played by Yoo Hae Jin), who reunite to pursue a global crime ring. Daniel Henney will be a new addition to the cast and play Jack, an FBI agent from the United States. The three detectives will show their international teamwork to achieve their own goals.
Elite North Korean detective Chul Ryung goes to South Korea for his new mission and teams up with Jin Tae and Jack. Hyun Bin said, “I did my best to transform into Chul Ryung, who has gone through many changes since the first movie.” The sequel is expected to include many entertaining and exciting scenes to look for as Chul Ryung will get himself used to his new environment in South Korea and pull off jaw-dropping stunts with his two partner detectives.
Director Lee Seok Hoon shared, “Hyun Bin is a professional and well-prepared actor who is always ready for his role. The passion he showed on set was amazing.”
Confidential Assignment 2: International marks Hyun Bin’s big-screen return after four years of � his hiatus. The new movie will hit theaters in September.
