In a moment of comedic gold on MBC’s Good Day, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon delivered a playful jab that had everyone in stitches during the February 23rd broadcast, which brought together a star-studded gathering of “88-liners” including Kim Soo Hyun, Jung Hae In, Yim Si Wan, Kwanghee, and Lee Soo Hyuk.
The lighthearted atmosphere was set early when Yim Si Wan shared, “It’s really not easy to get six people’s schedules aligned, and it’s even harder for us 88-liners to meet like this. I’m excited and really curious about how this combination came together.”
Kwanghee chimed in with his own take: “It’s really hard to make true friends these days. It’s difficult to approach people even when you want to, so I’m grateful for this opportunity.” The group’s chemistry was evident as they enthusiastically exchanged contact information.
The show’s highlight came during a friendly exchange when Kwanghee reminisced to his ZE:A bandmate Yim Si Wan about meeting G-Dragon on a music show, adding with a grin, “If I’m reborn, I want to be in a three-member group. I’ll practice singing a lot.” Without missing a beat, G-Dragon fired back, “We’re not doing it as three because we want to,” sending the entire room into fits of laughter.
The quip had the 88-liners doubled over, with Kwanghee playing along perfectly, “You do know that we’re here to help you, right?”
BIGBANG is currently operating as a trio with G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. The group’s latest musical offering came in November of last year when G-Dragon released “HOME SWEET HOME (feat. Taeyang, Daesung),” which was met with significant fan appreciation.
