Former BIGBANG member Seungri has been spotted at an overseas exhibition, showing a noticeably fuller appearance.
A short clip circulated social media on Christmas, capturing the former K-pop star attending a business meeting at an exhibition venue. The clips show Seungri with a visibly fuller face and build compared to his previous public appearances.
In August, Seungri faced intense backlash when he was announced as a special guest for an event titled “Burning Sun Surabaya” in Indonesia. The event organizer, TSV Management, later posted an apology video and abruptly canceled the event.
The organizers clarified, “We want to apologize for causing any misunderstanding. The distributed poster did not mention anything about Seungri’s attendance. The title ‘Burning Sun Surabaya’ was meant to convey staying safe at clubs and parties.”
Reports have also emerged of multiple sightings of Seungri on beaches in Bali, Indonesia, with claims that his group allegedly invited Korean tourists to “come party at our accommodation.”
Seungri, a central figure in the Burning Sun scandal, was released in February 2023 after serving an 18-month sentence for nine charges including habitual gambling, illegal filming, prostitution mediation, and embezzlement. Since his release, he has continued to draw criticism for allegedly suggesting club outings to acquaintances, hosting lavish parties, and being spotted at gatherings with Chinese entertainers who face restrictions due to drug convictions.
