Coupang Play’s new series Family Matters is confirmed for release on November 29th at 8 PM KST. Along with the announcement, the first poster has been unveiled, hinting at a family like no other.
Family Matters follows a mother with the extraordinary ability to edit memories at will as she and her family work together to bring down a group of villains. The cast is led by Bae Doona, joined by Ryoo Seung Bum, Baek Yoon Sik, and rising talents Lomon and Lee Su Hyun.
The newly unveiled poster captures the family gathered around a modest dinner table, exuding an aura of subtle tension and secrecy. Each family member brings a unique vibe to the scene: Cheol Hee (Ryoo Seung Bum) grips his chopsticks like a knife, looking deadly serious; Kang Seong (Baek Yoon Sik) stares with a fierce gaze; Ji Woo (Lee Su Hyun) wears an expression full of discontent, contrasting with Ji Hoon’s (Lomon) bright, innocent smile.
At the center of it all is Yeong Su (Bae Doona), standing with a meaningful look, accompanied by the tagline, “Pay attention. We’re about to show you what kind of family we are.”
Family Matters will premiere on Coupang Play on November 29th.
