Park Eun Young, the breakout star of the hit Netflix-adjacent cooking competition Culinary Class Wars, is officially off the market.
Industry insiders confirmed on March 30th that Chef Park will marry her fiancé—a doctor—this May at the prestigious Shilla Hotel in Seoul.
Fans can expect an inside look at the engagement soon; she is reportedly set to share her wedding news on the JTBC variety show Chef & My Fridge, where she is currently a series regular.
Park has carved out a unique space in the culinary world as a rare female chef specializing in Chinese cuisine, a field traditionally dominated by men in South Korea. Her pedigree is equally impressive: she is the protégé of the legendary Yeo Gyung Rae, widely considered a master of Chinese culinary arts.
While already respected in professional circles, Park became a household name in 2024. Competing as the “Chinese Goddess” in Season 1 of Culinary Class Wars, she won over audiences with her technical precision and underdog spirit.
Since her run on the show, her television career has skyrocketed. In addition to Chef & My Fridge, she has become a fixture on Korean networks, appearing on programs such as: Channel A’s The Chef’s Touch: Perfect Meal and You Can’t Change Your House (literal translations).
