Nana is taking a strong stance against the man who broke into her home after he shockingly tried to sue her.
On January 23rd, Sublime announced they had filed a complaint for false accusation against the robber, who countersued Nana even though he has been indicted for the crime.
The agency reminded everyone of the terrifying armed home invasion that took place on November 15th, where Nana and her mother were the victims. “This case has been fully investigated with clear evidence and statements under charges of robbery with injury,” Sublime said. “The perpetrator has been indicted and is on trial.”
Instead of feeling sorry, the assailant tried to turn things around. He countersued Nana, claiming she used excessive force during the incident, and has changed his story several times.
Sublime condemned his actions as “inhumane.”
“We are deeply angry and disappointed,” the agency said. “He is taking advantage of the fact that Nana is a public figure, distorting the facts and spreading false information to cause more harm.”
The agency confirmed that the police have already dismissed the robber’s claims. “The police have concluded that there are no charges regarding his countersuit, confirming that his claims are completely false,” they explained.
In response to the robber’s malicious actions, Nana’s team is fighting back.
“We believe his actions are intentional and malicious, continuing even after his serious crime,” Sublime said. “We have filed a legal complaint for false accusation.”
They ended with a strong warning: “We will not ignore this matter. We will take all legal actions to ensure the assailant is held fully accountable.”
