Girl’s Day alum–turned–actress Bang Minah and actor On Ju Wan are set to marry in Bali this weekend, according to new reports.
On November 27th, one outlet reported that the couple would be holding their wedding in Bali in the coming days. When contacted for confirmation, On Ju Wan’s agency Haewadal Entertainment told StarNews, “It’s a private ceremony with only family invited, so we ask for your understanding that we cannot confirm any details.”
The pair first announced their engagement in July. At the time, Bang Minah’s agency SM C&C stated, “Bang Minah and On Ju Wan have grown their long-standing friendship into love, and they’ve decided to build a life together starting this November.” On Ju Wan’s agency echoed the news, saying, “On Ju Wan and Min Ah decided to begin their life together this November. Please send warm congratulations as they embark on their second chapter as husband and wife.”
According to both sides, the wedding will be held privately, with only immediate family and close relatives in attendance. And with the ceremony taking place overseas, even Bang’s longtime Girl’s Day members are expected to sit this one out.
Bang and On first met on the 2016 SBS drama Beautiful Gong Shim, then reunited later in the musical The Days. On Ju Wan was also said to have stayed by Minah’s side throughout the funeral when she lost her father, offering support.
Bang Minah is 33 this year, while On Ju Wan is 43—putting ten years between them. With Min Ah’s upcoming marriage, Girl’s Day now has two married members: Sojin tied the knot with actor Lee Dong Ha in November 2023, and more recently, Hyeri made headlines over her rumored relationship with dancer Wootae.
