Recent photos of actor and singer Cha Eun Woo have gone viral online.
The star was spotted in Gyeongju on October 30th, assisting at the “2025 Gyeongju Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit” as a member of the Ministry of National Defense’s Service Support Group.
Dressed in his full army uniform, Cha Eun Woo immediately captured attention. Eyewitnesses at the Gyeongju hotel reported that his “remarkably perfect proportions” were striking. The photos quickly sparked an enthusiastic reaction online, with fans and netizens flooding social media. Comments included, “I thought he was filming a military movie,” “Was a military uniform always this stylish?” and “Cha Eun Woo himself is a national treasure.”
Some fans also pointed out the massive K-pop presence at the global summit, noting, “BTS’s RM delivered a speech, and Cha Eun Woo offered support… APEC is clearly experiencing the power of K-pop.”
Cha Eun Woo is currently serving as a Private First Class. He was previously recognized as a “model recruit” during his basic training for his diligent service.
Even while serving, his career is in full swing. His new comedy film, The First Ride, just premiered on October 29th, and his second mini-album, ELSE, is scheduled to be released on November 21st.
