Following the finale of Confidence Queen, stars Park Min Young, Park Hee Soon and Joo Jong Hyuk shared their closing thoughts.

Park Min Young, who played the brilliant con artist Yoon Yi Rang, reflected on the nine-month journey: “We spent such a long time filming — about nine months — so I really grew attached to the project. As always, saying goodbye to the staff and my fellow actors is bittersweet, and I can’t help but think I could’ve done a better job.”

Still, she looked back with pride. “I got to wear so many outfits, take on so many transformations, and do everything I could as an actress — so I feel satisfied and have no regrets.”

Addressing her character, Park added warmly, “Yi Rang went through so much. It was dizzying and complicated having to dive into a new persona each time, but I’m grateful she pushed through so earnestly. I hope she can finally shake off her trauma and start anew.”

The actress also expressed gratitude to the show’s viewers, saying, “So many people gave their best to make this a project without regrets. I hope that sincerity came through, and I want to thank everyone who showed us love.”

Park Hee Soon, who portrayed James, the team’s moral center, shared, “It was such a fun project, though tough at times. Playing so many different characters made the nine months fly by. Every time our trio came together to take down the bad guys, it was exhilarating.”

Joo Jong Hyuk, who played the youngest member Myung Goo Ho, commented, “It doesn’t feel real that it’s over. I think I’ll really miss all the fun and the struggles we went through together.”

Confidence Queen follows three con artists with very different skills who pull off wild, elaborate schemes to take money from the corrupt and greedy. Since its release on Amazon Prime Video, the series maintained a spot in the Worldwide Top 10 (according to FlixPatrol) and ranked in Coupang Play’s Top 3 domestically — proving its global appeal.

The finale aired to a 1.504% average viewership rating in the Seoul metropolitan area.
