Jun Ji Hyun is sharing her candid thoughts on balancing life as both an actress and a mother of two sons.
The star appeared in an interview released August 21st on GQ Korea’s YouTube channel, where she spoke about her upcoming Disney Plus drama Tempest as well as her reflections on motherhood.
Discussing her hyped anticipation for Tempest, Jun said, “I don’t feel this way with every project. But when I’m deeply focused and immersed in a character, sometimes I feel like I’m connected to the writer and director while on set. While filming ‘Tempest,’ I really felt that sense of connection with the writer.”
The actress also reflected on her personal life and career longevity. “I constantly wonder, what kind of actress will I be when I grow older? It’s the same at home. I think endlessly about how my children will grow up and what they will do in the future. But in the end, what I tell myself most often is: I’ll just do my best with what I can today.”
Jun Ji Hyun will next be seen in Tempest, premiering soon on Disney Plus.
