Choi Yoon Ra has officially become a mom.
The actress took to social media on July 3rd to share the joyful news that she had given birth to a healthy baby girl after 22 hours of labor.
She posted heartwarming photos from the hospital, including one of her gazing lovingly at her newborn and another of her daughter peacefully sleeping in the nursery. Her husband, beaming with pride, was also seen in the delivery room looking at his wife and newborn, capturing the pure happiness of the moment.
In her post, Choi opened up about the emotional and physical toll of childbirth. “I was admitted at 6AM the day before, endured labor all day, and finally met my baby at 5:13AM today,” she wrote.
She went on to thank her husband for staying by her side the entire time, as well as the medical staff who supported her through the difficult delivery. “At one point, I was so exhausted I wanted a C-section,” she admitted, “but they helped me push through.”
Choi Yoon Ra married her non-celebrity husband in November of last year. She’ll return to the small screen later this month in the KBS2 drama My Girlfriend Is the Man!, premiering July 23.
