Ahn Hyo Seop is heading to The Seasons: Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile for what promises to be a must-watch episode.
According to OSEN, Ahn will take part in the recording as a solo guest, joining host Park Bo Gum on the celebrated late-night music talk show known for blending musical stages with heartfelt conversations. While Cantabile has featured an array of musicians and actors since its premiere, Ahn’s solo spotlight is already generating buzz.
Ahn Hyo Seop is currently more active than ever in the film industry. He recently lent his voice to the English dub of Netflix’s animated feature KPop Demon Hunters, gaining attention for his versatile talents. And on July 23rd, he’ll be back on the big screen in the much-anticipated fantasy action film Omniscient Reader: The Prophet.
The movie, adapted from the wildly popular web novel, is one of the most awaited releases of the year. The story follows Kim Dok Ja, the lone reader of a decade-long serial novel, who wakes up to find the fictional world he once read about has become real. Ahn stars as Kim Dok Ja, fighting for survival alongside the story’s original protagonist Yoo Jung Hyuk (Lee Min Ho) in a post-apocalyptic world.
On Cantabile, Ahn is expected to talk about this upcoming film and share insights into his latest projects. Given his well-known vocal talent—frequently showcased at fan meetings—audiences are especially eager to see what kind of stage he’ll bring on stage.
Ahn Hyo Seop’s episode of Cantabile will air sometime in July, with the show broadcasting every Friday night at 11:20 PM KST on KBS.
