ADOR has once again called on NewJeans to return to the group and resume official activities following a favorable court decision.
On June 18, ADOR released a statement saying, “The court has once again clearly confirmed that ADOR is the official agency representing NewJeans. We are deeply grateful for the court’s ruling.”
“We hope this decision serves as a turning point for the members to return to their rightful place as NewJeans and continue their activities. With their third debut anniversary coming up next month, ADOR is committed to supporting the group so they can reach even greater heights,” the agency added.
SPOTV News reported on June 17th that the Seoul High Court dismissed NewJeans’ appeal against a previous ruling.
The Seoul Central District Court previously granted ADOR’s injunction against NewJeans, affirming the agency’s management rights and prohibiting the five members from signing independent advertising contracts. NewJeans filed an objection, but it was dismissed. They then appealed the decision, but that too was rejected. As a result, the group cannot carry out any promotional or commercial activities without ADOR’s approval.
