A sizzling new office rom-com may soon bring together two fan favorites—Gong Myung and Shin Hye Sun—in what’s shaping up to be one of the spiciest K-drama pairings of the year.
Both stars are reportedly in talks to headline Secret Audit (working title), a bold new comedy-romance set in the heart of a corporate audit department. The series follows Noh Gi Jun—formerly the golden boy of the audit team—who gets demoted to the internal misconduct team, and Joo In Ah, the quirky, no-nonsense head of audits who’s hiding a secret of her own. Together, they’ll be keeping tabs on all the “scandalous shenanigans” unfolding behind office doors.
Gong Myung is the leading candidate for Noh Gi Jun, while Shin Hye Sun is said to be in talks for the role of Joo In Ah. Known for her standout roles in Still 17, Mr. Queen, and See You in My 19th Life, Shin’s knack for balancing emotional depth and offbeat humor makes her a perfect match for the role and for Gong Myung.
Meanwhile, Gong Myung has been on a hot streak this year. He recently starred in Way Back Love and Second Shot at Love, and is set to debut in the Netflix original Mercy for None on June 6th. His film lineup is also stacked, with Love Untangled and Husbands in Action set to release later this year.
Casting for Secret Audit is currently underway, with the network and release date still under wraps.
