Kim Go Eun made a dazzling return to the Cannes red carpet, appearing at the 78th Cannes Film Festival for the first time in a decade.
On the evening of May 14th (local time), the French Riviera town of Cannes lit up as the Lumière Theater hosted the official screening and red carpet event for Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning. Amid the global buzz, Kim Go Eun made a surprise appearance, drawing a flurry of camera flashes.
The actress stunned in a bold, fashion-forward look. She opted for a tweed-textured black jumpsuit paired with a sheer, floor-length shawl that flowed dramatically behind her. The sleek, cropped hairstyle gave the look a chic, modern edge, perfectly complementing the ensemble’s striking silhouette.
She kept accessories minimal but impactful, donning asymmetrical earrings and understated rings that added just the right touch of glam. As always, her effortlessly warm smile and graceful red carpet presence turned heads.

This year marks Kim Go Eun’s first return to Cannes since 2015, when she attended as the lead in Coin Locker Girl, invited to the festival’s Critics’ Week section. This time, she walked the red carpet as a global ambassador for Nespresso, who extended the invitation.
Meanwhile, Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the eighth installment in the franchise, made history as the first in the series to be screened in the Out of Competition section at Cannes.
