It’s been revealed that SHINee’s Minho is the new owner of the luxury home where actor Ha Jung Woo lived for the past 10 years.
According to public real estate records confirmed on April 15th, Minho purchased Tierra House, a high-end residence in the Jamwon neighborhood of Seoul’s Seocho District. Ha Jung Woo originally bought the home in May 2013 and lived there until 2024. Minho reportedly closed the deal in May 2023, with ownership officially transferred in August 2024.
Ha Jung Woo has since moved into Upper House Namsan, an exclusive residential complex in Seoul’s Namsan area. Since that building began welcoming residents in July of last year, some speculate that Minho may have timed the purchase with Ha Jung Woo’s move.
With no mortgage listed on the property, it’s believed Minho paid the full amount in cash.
Tierra House is known for its stunning views of the Han River and prime location just south of Hannam Bridge. The complex features only 15 units, each occupying an entire floor. Every residence spans roughly 3,200 square feet, with five bedrooms (including a walk-in closet) and three bathrooms.
Ha Jung Woo reportedly purchased the property for 2.7 billion KRW (approximately $1.8 million) in 2013 and sold it to Minho for 5 billion KRW (about $3.5 million), netting a profit of roughly $1.7 million.
The two stars became close while filming the 2023 reality series Bros on Foot, a TVING original that followed Ha Jung Woo, Minho, Ju Ji Hoon and Yeo Jin Goo as they took on adventure missions in New Zealand’s great outdoors.
Beyond this property, Ha Jung Woo owns several commercial buildings in prime locations across South Korea, including Sokcho, Jongno, Songpa and Seodaemun. These properties, which house major franchises like Starbucks, are estimated to be worth over 40 billion KRW (roughly $28 million).
As for Ha Jung Woo’s new home, Upper House Namsan is located along the scenic Namsan Trail and features ultra-luxury amenities—including a private sky garage with an elevator that brings cars directly to each unit’s front door.
