Kim Soo Hyun will hold a press conference at 4:30 PM today at a hotel in the Sangam district of Seoul. It has been confirmed that attorney Kim Jong Bok from the law firm LKB & Partners, representing Gold Medalist, and Kim Soo Hyun himself will attend the press conference.
Gold Medalist issued a statement on March 30th, saying, “We deeply regret causing concern with recent events. To address the matter directly, we have arranged a press conference where Kim Soo Hyun and our legal representatives from LKB & Partners will make an official statement. However, there will be no Q&A session, and we ask for your understanding in advance.”
While Kim Soo Hyun is expected to share his stance during the press conference, he has already stated that he will not take questions from the press. He initially denied ever dating Kim Sae Ron, but after certain evidence surfaced, he admitted they were in a relationship after she became an adult. The controversy intensified when Kim Sae Ron’s family lawyer released questionable messages allegedly exchanged between them while she was still a minor. With Kim Soo Hyun remaining silent since then, his decision to finally step forward has drawn significant attention.
Kim Soo Hyun is facing mounting backlash. His planned fan meeting in Taiwan was recently canceled, and the release of his Disney Plus original series Knock-Off has been officially postponed its release. Additionally, brands have begun cutting ties with him, with advertising contracts reportedly being terminated.

Adding to the controversy, Kim Soo Hyun is now facing scrutiny from the late Sulli’s family. Her older brother has demanded clarification about the explicit scenes in the film Real, alleging that, despite the presence of a body double, Sulli was pressured into performing highly revealing nude scenes.

Over the weekend, Sulli’s older brother posted cryptic remarks on social media, seemingly directed at Kim Soo Hyun. Earlier, on March 28th, Sulli’s family demanded answers from Kim Soo Hyun’s representatives concerning several issues: the fact that the bed scenes between Sulli and Kim Soo Hyun in Real were not clearly detailed in the original script; why Sulli was convinced to perform the bed scenes and nude scenes despite a body double being available on set; and the suspicion that claims of the body double’s absence due to illness during the filming of those scenes were false, as the double was actually present at the location.
