Lee Na Young and Jung Eun Chae are teaming up for the first time in the upcoming legal mystery-thriller Honor (literal title), a bold new drama that follows three fierce female lawyers.
According to reports on March 26th, both actors have confirmed their roles in Honor, which is based on a Swedish series of the same name. The show follows a trio of lawyers confronting a dark past that returns as a high-profile scandal.
Lee Na Young will play Yoon Ra Young, a striking and eloquent attorney at the law firm L&J. With beauty and intellect, she is a public figure admired for her poise—yet privately haunted by events from 20 years ago. This marks Lee’s first drama role since One Day Off in 2023, and notably, her first time portraying a lawyer since her debut.
Jung Eun Chae steps into the role of Kang Shin Jae, the commanding head of L&J and leader of the three-woman legal team. Fierce, calculating, and unapologetically ambitious, Shin Jae is the kind of boss who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Following her praised performance as the gender-fluid Mun Ok Kyung in last year’s female-centric period drama Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born, fans are eager to see what edge she’ll bring to Honor.
With two leads already generating buzz, production is reportedly finalizing casting for the third key female lawyer before filming begins. The release platform and broadcast channel are still under discussion.
