
Rising actor Kim Do Hoon has been hospitalized following a serious injury sustained during filming.
On March 24th, his agency Peak J Entertainment confirmed that Kim was injured while shooting the upcoming TVING original series Dear X. “Kim Do Hoon fractured the muscles of his left forearm while riding a motorcycle for a scene,” the agency told iMBC.
He has since undergone surgery and is currently hospitalized as he focuses on recovery.
Dear X is a dark yet emotional melodrama thriller centering on a woman who wears a mask to survive and a man determined to save her. Kim Do Hoon plays Kim Jae Oh, a key ally to the female lead Baek Ah Jin, portrayed by Kim Yoo Jung. His role is expected to be intense and layered, marking another major step in his acting career.
Kim Do Hoon has been steadily gaining attention after his breakout performance as the class president Kang Hoon in Disney Plus’s hit series Moving. He has also appeared in ENA’s Your Honor and SBS’s Love Scout.
