Sung Hoon revealed his fitness routine and kissing skills during his guest appearance on SBS’s variety show My Little Old Boy on March 9th.

The conversation took a personal turn when Seo Jang Hoon brought up Sung Hoon’s famously chiseled physique, saying, “I heard that every time you start a new project, the directors tell you that they’ll make you take your shirt off at least once.” When photos of the actor posing shirtless were shown, Shin Dong Yup jokingly remarked, “He’s built to be shirtless. He needs to take it off.”

Known for his hearty appetite, Sung Hoon candidly shared his body maintenance strategy. “It varies depending on off-season and peak season. When I eat a lot, I inevitably can’t maintain that body. Then when I get paid and enter the peak season, then it becomes possible,” he explained honestly. He added, “I’m currently in the process of preparing to transition from off-season to peak season.”

The conversation then shifted to Sung Hoon’s background as a former competitive swimmer, which he revealed has led to numerous underwater kissing scenes in his acting career.

Things got particularly interesting when Seo Jang Hoon exposed an unexpected detail about the actor’s personal life. “He’s good at it on screen, but I heard he’s gotten a lot of complaints from ex-girlfriends saying he’s terribly bad at kissing in real life,” Seo revealed. Sung Hoon quickly defended himself, clarifying, “It wasn’t as bad as ‘terribly bad.’ My girlfriend at the time did say something like that. Why she’d say that, I don’t know.”

Seo Jang Hoon then mischievously suggested with a knowing grin, “Maybe because that person also had kissing scenes with other actors,” prompting Shin Dong Yup to gleefully pile on with, “So there was a comparison.” adding, “You’re upset because he turned your singer ex into an actress.”

Realizing he was being backed into a revelatory corner, he dramatically pushed his chair back and made a comical escape attempt, announcing, “Thank you for having me, I’ll be going now!” drawing laughter from everyone in the studio.
