Kim Sae Ron has passed away at the age of 25.
She was found dead on February 16 at her home in Seoul’s Seongdong district, according to the Seongdong Police.
A friend who had planned to meet her visited her residence and discovered her body. Police are currently investigating the cause of death, but no signs of forced entry or criminal activity have been found so far.
As the friend was the first to find her, authorities are considering the possibility of suicide as part of their investigation.
Kim, who began her career as a child actress, later starred in dramas such as Leverage, The Great Shaman Ga Doo-shim, and Bloodhounds.
However, she took a two-year hiatus after being involved in a drunk driving incident in 2022. She was set to return to the stage last year with the play Dongchimi but withdrew due to health issues.
