P1Harmony member Keeho has found himself at the center of controversy over comments allegedly disparaging office workers and unemployed individuals on a fan communication app.

Recently surfaced chat logs shared across online communities show Keeho making several contentious remarks. In one instance, he stated, “When I see unemployed people, I wonder what their parents do for work.” In another message, he wrote, “Sometimes when I’m in a car and see people walking, I wonder what kind of life they’re living.”

The idol’s comments extended to office workers, questioning, “When I see office workers, I wonder what dreams they had. Are they happy with what they’re doing now?”

The revelations sparked immediate backlash from netizens, with many pointing out, “Many fans are either students, job seekers, or young professionals—how could he make such comments?” Some self-proclaimed fans expressed disappointment, noting, “I have my playlist packed with their songs—this is disheartening.”

Adding to the controversy, photos have emerged of an individual staging a one-person protest outside FNC’s headquarters, claiming to be a victim of fraud by Keeho’s mother.

The protestor’s sign read, “P1Harmony Keeho’s mother! 1.1 billion won ($7.6 million) taken using your son and your pastor brother as collateral. It’s been a year and six months with no repayment and blocked communication,” adding, “Keeho, tell your mother to cooperate with the police investigation and return the money. The victims can’t hold on any longer.”

Keeho’s mother was previously reported to authorities in March last year for alleged fraud. FNC Entertainment has issued an official statement regarding the situation: “The recent controversial issues are unilateral claims completely unrelated to the artist and are personal matters concerning his mother.”
