During the interview following the shoot, the actor opened up about his role as Cha Tae Woong in Iron Family. “He’s the dependable backbone for Chungryum Dry Cleaning, but at times, he stirs up tension as a mysterious figure,” he shared, piquing curiosity about his character’s complexities. “Tae Woong feels like a character that requires a multi-dimensional performance. I’ve been trying to find the right balance, so it’s neither too light nor too heavy,” he added.

When asked about his criteria for choosing roles, Choi explained, “I need to make sure I can express the character well and that I can persuade the audience through that role.” He continued, “Once I’ve delved deeply into the character, I feel I can step into the role without hesitation,” reflecting his dedication to his craft.
