Drama Ranking for 5th Week of August

SBS’s Good Partner has retained its position at the top for the third consecutive week, despite a slight dip in buzz. The series continues to pull in strong ratings at 15%, but some viewers have expressed disappointment, particularly with last week’s episode, which many found outdated in its portrayal of working mothers and single-parent families. Following closely behind in second place is tvN’s Love Next Door. The two lead stars dominated the cast rankings, with Jung Hae In capturing attention as fans eagerly anticipate the conclusion of his character’s one-sided love. Netflix’s The Frog held steady at third place for the second consecutive week, thanks in part to Go Min Si’s captivating performance, which helped the show gain more traction.

tvN’s No Gain No Love debuted at No. 4, with many tuning in to see Shin Mina in the lead role. Meanwhile, TVING’s Queen Woo entered the rankings at No. 5. Pre-release concerns over the drama’s potential Chinese influence quickly shifted to complaints about unnecessary nudity, leaving viewers curious if Part 2, releasing on the 12th, would turn things around.
