Drama Ranking for 4th Week of August

SBS’s Good Partner has held onto its number one position this week, thanks to its intense storyline centered around infidelity, starring Jang Na Ra, Han Jai, and Ji Seung Hyun. Ji Seung Hyun’s character is making waves as potentially the worst husband ever portrayed in a K-drama, sparking ongoing conversations among viewers. With its growing popularity, six of the show’s cast members have made it onto the cast rankings. Hot on its heels is tvN’s Love Next Door, which has climbed to the second spot. The show has captured viewers’ attention with its latest episode, revealing a hidden backstory of Jung Hae In’s character, who has harbored a long-time crush on Jung So Min’s Bae Seok Ryu.  As the dynamics between the two main characters evolve, Love Next Door could easily snag the top spot in upcoming weeks.

Netflix’s The Frog debuted at third place, but like many recent Netflix originals, it has received mixed reviews. Despite the high expectations surrounding the production team and cast, the show has failed to live up to the hype. ENA’s Your Honor and MBC’s Black Out secured the fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Both shows are heavy thriller dramas, a genre that has seen less attention in recent times, but they have found a dedicated fanbase.
