This comedic investigation drama follows an elite detective who joins the country’s lowest-ranked violent crimes unit, transforming it into one of the most formidable teams in the nation. Initially set to air on SBS, the show will now premiere on Disney Plus. Kim Dong Wook will play the new team leader with his exceptional comedic skills, while Park Ji Hwan, Seo Hyun Woo, Park Se Wan, and Lee Seung Woo round out the team. Expectations are running high with Lee Young Chul, the mastermind behind the iconic High Kick series, writing the script. The teaser has already sparked excitement for the chemistry among the cast.

The Judge From Hell (9/21)

Making her return to television with Doctor Slump after giving birth, Park Shin Hye is set to star in an upcoming fantasy drama. In the drama The Judge From Hell, a demon takes over the body of a judge. This demon meets a detective who is very good at his job and also a kind person. Together, they work to bring justice to the world. This role will see Park Shin Hye exploring a unique anti-hero persona as she judges and punishes wrongdoers. Kim Jae Young, known for his roles in Love in Contract and Reflection of You, will portray the warm-hearted detective partnering with Park Shin Hye. The series will be available on Disney Plus.

Dear Hyeri (9/23)

Shin Hye Sun and Lee Jin Wook are teaming up as ex-lovers in the new drama Dear Hyeri. The show follows Eun Ho, an unknown announcer who develops dissociative identity disorder after traumatic experiences, and her ex-boyfriend Hyun Oh, as they work through the hidden wounds in their hearts. Shin Hye Sun, known for her exceptional diction and past roles in Still 17, Mr. Queen, and See You in My 19th Life, will play the announcer and take on a dual role. Lee Jin Wook, returning to a romantic lead role, is expected to bring chemistry and depth to the series. Dear Hyeri will be available on Rakuten Viki.

What Comes After Love (9/27)

As Korean and Japanese actors continue to make waves across both countries, popular Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi is set to star alongside Lee Se Young in upcoming K-romance drama What Comes After Love. This melodrama, based on a collaborative Korean-Japanese novel, tells the touching story of a woman who has forgotten everything after a life-changing love ends, and a man consumed by regret. With the teaser now out, anticipation is building for the series, as fans look forward to the chemistry between the actors and their portrayal of the beloved characters from the novel.

Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 (9/27)

Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee are set to return for Gyeongseong Creature Season 2. Set in Seoul, this new season follows Ho Jae, who bears a striking resemblance to Tae Sang, as he crosses paths with Chae Ok, who survived the tumultuous spring of Gyeongseong. Together, they will unravel the unresolved connections, destinies and entanglements from Gyeongseong’s past. As anticipation builds, fans are eager to see if Season 2 can address the mixed reactions from the first season and deliver a satisfying experience.

Iron Family (9/28)

Kim Jung Hyun is making a comeback in a weekend drama titled Iron Family. This romantic comedy follows the lives of a family running a laundromat and the various situations they encounter. Kim Jung Hyun plays Seo Kang Joo, the son of a wealthy family who reconnects with Lee Da Rim (played by Keum Sae Rok), the youngest daughter of the laundromat family, after eight years. With a lot riding on this series, people are especially curious to see how it will do, given that Kim Jung Hyun’s previous show The Season of Kkokdu didn’t do well after his controversy with Seo Ye Ji. Additionally, Park Shin Hye’s husband Choi Tae Joon is set to return as the lead in this new series.
