Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee are set to lead the upcoming drama My Youth (working title), scheduled to air in 2025.
Produced by High Zium Studio, My Youth is a heartfelt romance that follows Sun Woo Hae (Song Joong Ki), who starts living a normal life later than most, and Sung Jae Yeon (Chun Woo Hee), who must disrupt her first love’s peaceful existence for the sake of her own success. The story unfolds as the two reunite after over a decade, rekindling the flame of a love that helped them through the darkest times of their lives.
The drama is helmed by director Lee Sang Yeob, known for his delicate and stylish direction in series like Yumi’s Cells and Shopping King Louie. He teams up with writer Park Shi Hyun, who received acclaim for her work on Run On, to bring this emotionally charged romance to life.
The casting of Song Joong Ki and Chun Woo Hee has already generated excitement among fans. Song Joong Ki takes on the role of Sun Woo Hae, a former child actor who once shined brightly but faded into obscurity due to the greed of the adults.
