Kim Seon Ho has successfully made a name for himself in the action genre with roles in films like The Childe and the series The Tyrant. Now, he’s set to show off his versatility by taking on a variety of new projects, from romantic comedies to suspenseful thrillers.
Kim Seon Ho starred as Director Choi in the four-part series. He played a key role in the secretive “Tyrant Program,” developing superhuman drugs. His portrayal of a collected intelligence agent who rose through the ranks at a young age was praised by critics.
The drama was a huge hit, topping the Disney Plus charts and landing in the top five in countries like Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, and Taiwan. It also ranked third following SBS’s Good Partner and MBC’s Black Out on the Kinolights chart, which measures popularity across both TV and streaming platforms.
After making a splash in the action genre with films like The Childe and the series The Tyrant, Kim Seon Ho is returning to his romantic comedy roots with Netflix’s Lost in Translation. Fans have been eagerly awaiting his comeback in this genre. He’ll star as an interpreter opposite Go Yoon Jung in this new series from the hit-making Hong Sisters. Hong Sisters wrote The Greatest Love, Hotel del Luna and Alchemy of Souls.
Kim Seon Ho is also in talks to star in the mystery dramas Second Sister and Delusion. Second Sister is a psychological thriller about a woman who refuses to believe her brother’s death and the enigmatic man she meets. Delusion is a period mystery where a painter gets caught up in a series of strange events after being asked to paint a mysterious woman’s portrait. The project is gaining attention with reports of Suzy joining the cast.
