Choi Jin Hyuk discussed his chemistry with Jeong Eun Ji in Miss Night and Day.
In an interview held on August 1st, Choi Jin Hyuk reflected on his time co-starring with Jeong Eun Ji in JTBC’s weekend drama Miss Night and Day, which concluded on the 4th.
Miss Night and Day is a whimsical rom-com about a job seeker trapped in an elderly body during the day and a talented prosecutor who gets entangled with her.
During the interview, Choi Jin Hyuk shared, “As everyone knows, she’s very easygoing. Although she seemed shy at first, we quickly became friends. But as we got closer, we developed more of a “brother” chemistry, which kind of worried me,” the actor said with a laugh. “There are supposed to be romantic sparks between us, but I became so comfortable that I worried it might be a problem. I even deliberately avoided talking to her sometimes.”
Addressing the possibility of a real-life romance between them, Choi Jin Hyuk stated, “There’s zero chance. She can be quite intimidating. I still get scolded by her a lot, which I think happens because we’re so close,” he said, eliciting more laughter.
