Lee Kwang Soo dives into the dark world of contract killing in the new U+Mobile TV series No Way Out: The Roulette.
On July 3rd, the production released stills of Lee Kwang Soo as Yoon Chang Jae, a butcher who fiercely competes for a bounty. The drama centers around the intense struggle for a 20 billion KRW (approx. 14.5 million USD) bounty on the notorious criminal Kim Guk Ho (Yoo Jae Myung).
Lee Kwang Soo, known for his lighthearted roles as well as his nuanced performances, takes on a gritty character in No Way Out: The Roulette. As Yoon Chang Jae, he portrays a butcher who becomes entangled in the deadly game orchestrated by the masked man. He is the first victim of the masked man’s deadly roulette game and subsequently aims to claim the massive reward by any means necessary.
Lee’s portrayal of Yoon Chang Jae is raw and intense, showcasing a rough and ruthless side as he plunges into the chaos. His co-star, Cho Jin Woong, who plays Detective Baek Joong Shik, commented, “I was astonished by the energy Lee Kwang Soo brought to the set. His acting is phenomenal, and I’d love to collaborate with him on other projects.”
Lee Kwang Soo himself shared his passion for the role, stating, “This was a fierce and intense shoot, and I hope viewers can feel the energy and passion that went into making it.”
No Way Out: The Roulette will be available on U+ Mobile TV starting July 31st.
