The tvN’s upcoming reality show Jinny’s Kitchen 2 has taken its cast to Iceland, stirring up interest with firsthand accounts spreading online. The establishment, dubbed “Jinny’s Ttukbaegi,” follows its successful run in Bacalar, Mexico, by offering warm K-food suitable for the chilly Icelandic climate this time around.
Located near Lake Tjörnin in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, the restaurant aims to present an exotic dining experience to locals in a region where Korean cuisine is rare, amidst the picturesque Icelandic landscape.
The show introduced a “Chef of the Day” system, with Cho Woo Shik, who was previously seen mainly serving food but is now receiving praise for dishes like braised short ribs. The menu is priced between 30,000 to 50,000 won, with soju also available, signaling an effort to promote K-food and beverages.
Especially captivating in the video clips shared by fans is Park Seo Jun diligently cleaning in front of the restaurant. Sightings also mention Lee Seo Jin, Go Min Si, and Park Seo Jun primarily handling the serving, with Jung Yu Mi taking the lead role, further fueling the restaurant’s reputation as a must-visit spot where people line up to dine.
For Season 2, Go Min Si joined the original members, filling in for V who is currently serving in the military. The production team and cast members departed for Iceland on March 18th via Incheon International Airport, capturing the anticipation and interest of fans.
