The romance blossoms between Nam Ha Neul (played by Park Shin Hye) and Yeo Jeong Woo (Park Hyung Sik) in Episode 4 of JTBC’s Doctor Slump.
Yeo Jeong Woo mistakenly believes that he was Ha Neul’s first love. He becomes convinced of this after Ha Neul mentions the “fan incident” from their school days and thanks him for helping her. He even asks himself in the mirror, “Is that why she liked me?” before heading out for a shopping trip together.

However, a twist is revealed: the reason they went shopping was for a blind date that Ha Neul had the next day. Jeong Woo can’t hide his disappointment, but his face lights up when he learns that the blind date didn’t go well.

Later in the episode, Ha Neul receives a call from the hospital where she submitted her resume while she was drunk. Although her self-esteem had hit rock bottom, she decided to muster up the courage and attend the job interview. Meanwhile, Jeong Woo learns that her former colleagues didn’t speak positively about her to the hospital’s reference checker and becomes worried about how frustrated she might feel to find this out.
Towards the end, Jeong Woo goes to the train stop and finds Ha Neul there. As she laments, “I think I’ve done something wrong in my life,” he comforts her, saying, “You’ve never done anything wrong. It’s not your fault.”
