BTS’s Jimin, who recently enlisted in the military, has left a special gift for ARMY—a new digital single.
On the 21st, Big Hit Music announced through Weverse, “We are excited to announce the release of BTS member Jimin’s digital single, ‘Closer Than This.'” The song is scheduled to be released on the 22nd at 2 PM KST.
Big Hit continued, “‘Closer Than This’ is a heartfelt fan song that encapsulates Jimin’s genuine feelings for ARMY. As we approach the final days of 2023, we hope that ‘Closer Than This’, with its lyrics conveying Jimin’s love and affection for his fans, will bring you hope and warmth.”
With this release, Jimin ensures that he continues to connect with fans through his music, even while serving in the military.
Earlier on December 12th, Jimin enlisted for his mandatory military service at the 5th Infantry Division’s new recruit training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province, alongside Jungkook.
