Jessi and Jay Park officially refuted reports of potential contract termination. Reports from The Fact on December 6th suggested that More Vision, Jay Park’s music label, recently notified Jessi of their intention to terminate their exclusive contract.
In October of last year, Jessie’s scheduled performances for her single album “Gum” on various music shows were abruptly canceled. Jay Park’s label cited health issues as the reason for canceling Jessie’s appearances, stating, “Jessie will not be able to perform due to her health.” During this period, the singer only appeared on radio and variety shows.
Following the reports of Jessie’s contract termination, More Vision initially responded that they were “checking into the matter” without providing further comments.
However, Jay Park swiftly addressed the situation on his social media, saying, “Me and Jessie are good. No need to worry.” Jessie also took to her social media account, commenting, “Just arrived in NY… and woke up to this nonsense. Ya’ll need to get a life FR. We’re all good over here.”
It’s worth noting that Jessie joined More Vision in April of this year, drawing significant attention for leaving Psy’s P Nation and signing with Jay Park’s newly established company. Despite Jay Park and Jessie shutting down discord rumors, there has been no official statement regarding the termination of Jessie’s contract, leaving fans curious about their future partnership.
