Billboard released a video interview with Keena from FIFTY FIFTY on its YouTube channel on November 19th.

Keena expressed how she feels about the huge success of the group’s hit song, “Cupid.” She shared, “This is so surreal. I can’t believe I’m here. I feel honored and grateful that I’ve been nominated for this award.” When asked about the group’s future activities, the singer answered, “It took me so long to get back. I want to give back to everyone who loved and supported us.”

FIFTY FIFTY was nominated for Top Duo-Group and Top Global K-Pop Song at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards. “Cupid” peaked at No. 17 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and spent 25 weeks on the chart. However, in June of this year, the four members of the act filed a lawsuit against their agency, ATTRAKT, to suspend their exclusive contracts with the company.

A day before the awards event, Keena shared her heartfelt letter on the fan website. She wrote, “I’m so sorry to Hunnies who must have been disappointed by my immature behaviors. But you’ve always shown your unwavering support and trust, and I’m so thankful for that. I’ll repay all your love and support by showcasing great performances as a member of FIFTY FIFTY.”
