Drama Ranking for 1st Week of October

As Disney Plus’ Moving vacates its leading position, who’s taking the throne? tvN’s Twinkling Watermelon was the first to take the crown. Amid raving reviews calling it a “warm and refreshing drama,” it continues to receive consistent buzz. Though lead actor Choi Hyun Wook has been embroiled in a personal life controversy, the drama remains unscathed. JTBC’s Destined With You ascended to second place with its impending finale. JTBC’s Strong Girl Nam-soon debuted at No. 3 thanks to its previous show that recorded impressive ratings. The show is not only doing well locally but is also clinching high ranks in Netflix’s global ratings, currently holding the fourth spot according to FlixPatrol. Song of the Bandits from Netflix, however, has slipped to fifth place. SBS’s The Escape of the Seven took a hit and fell to the sixth spot due to a one-week hiatus. Yoo Seung Ho’s new project, Wavve original series The Perfect Deal, debuted at the ninth but is already getting positive responses. Netflix’s yet-to-be-released Doona! already secured a spot at tenth with high expectations.
