Jinny’s Kitchen is getting a spinoff, and it’s already causing a buzz.
tvN’s special episode “The Communication Caterers – Jinny’s Kitchen Edition” promises to immerse viewers back into the well-loved world of Jinny’s Kitchen, where we can catch up with the familiar employees. CEO Lee Seo Jin, Director Jung Yu Mi, Manager Park Seo Joon, Intern Choi Woo Whik, and BTS’s V will go on a teamwork-building retreat, enhancing their communication skills through a myriad of games. The show premieres on October 12th at 8:40 PM KST.
In the teaser, viewers get a sneak peek of the juiciest episodes featuring the Jinny’s Kitchen cast. This upcoming get-together begins when an anonymous tipster reports, “It seems like the CEO isn’t paying much attention to the employees.” In response, the employees are hastily summoned for the “1st Jinny’s Kitchen Team Building Convention,” piquing everyone’s interest.
Reuniting after months, Lee Seo Jin can’t hide his irritation. “Who’s the snitch that reported that we’re not communicating well, when we clearly are?” he demands. At this, Jung Yu Mi and Park Seo Joon avert their gaze, avoiding eye contact, while Choi Woo Shik casually dodges, asking, “Who could it be?”
Not holding back for the sake of unity, the staff’s antics are eliciting bursts of laughter. Lee Seo Jin loses his balance and falls while playing jaegi, while Jung Yu Mi fumbles her words, trying to guess what V is describing. During a group jump-rope session, Choi Woo Shik jumps in right after Park Seo Joon and V, only to fail, giving us a taste of their off-the-wall chemistry.
The teaser ends with Lee Seo Jin stomping on a banner and declaring, “Stop filming now,” leaving viewers curious as to whether the team-building convention can wrap up without a hitch.
